Tashkent MIXX

We conceived the design for a mixed-use building scheme in the inner periphery of Tashkent to support to the development of the site as well as of the wider district.
The project comprises a hotel located in a strategic part of the city with a developing hospitality market, a shared office building for small and mid-sized local businesses, rooftop dining and a ground-floor café serving locals and hotel guests.

On the one hand, the proposed building massing reflects the multifaceted content of the building, while on the other, it attempts to engage in a dialogue with its context in terms of size and scale.

In the design of the exterior, each of the building’s functions expresses itself through unique façade rhythms, creating an intriguing aesthetic and a subtle reference to the activities that take place within. A refined choice of materials and specific detailing of the facade creates a common language and unites each of the building elements within a unified whole.
